The end of the year is coming…
…and I guess it’s about time to sit down, relax a bit and contemplate about things done, gone and the future ahead of us. Although it’s kinda funny, as for the average European, the upcoming Christmas season is certainly one of the busiest (if not the busiest) times of the year.
But when I was the average European? Haha, yep, although I can’t completely escape the chaos (although working from home helps a lot, I have to say), I try to be a insulated, if for a little bit, against going seasonally mad.
And Indokult website, after being offline for a couple of weeks, is online again. Its design has changed, because I’ve realized I’d been doing some things the wrong way. So, that’s the reason for that.
Maybe you’ve been wondering, why Indokult has disappeared in the first place. Well, I have to admit one thing – since the return of my family from the United Kingdom back home (to Slovakia), I haven’t had the best of times. Futile searching for a job (which took 8 months) was not something to bring joy and ease one’s mind to enjoy doing things once done on a regular basis. Many times I just haven’t had the energy to just passively listening to some music or to watch a movie, not to mention to sit down and write about these, or to prepare questions for a new interview.
And did I miss it…
I guess all things have to run their full cycle, whether they are good or bad. and I hope this is the end of the things which have bothered me and cause me so much headache and depression. This just took a way longer time than expected.
However, not being happy about this, I’ve decided – once I’d get a job and get this big burden off my shoulders – to restart all my activities (of which Indokult is just one), the way they should bring the best results to all involved – to you, readers and supporters, and also to me.
So, it might be the end of 2024, but one thing is for sure – it’s not the end of Indokult. Quite the contrary, it’s the new beginning.
