Grindcore veterans PERNICIOUS HATE released a brand new album!

After the release of their debut single “toPeng durjana”, Pernicious Hate, a Veteran Grindcore band from Purwokerto formed in 1999, finally released a full album entitled “Grind Up!” released through Metalgear Music. The album “Grind Up!” is Pernicious Hate’s orgasmic point for not releasing a full album for the past 20 years, after their last album “Disgrace World” was released in 2005.

This album was done very instantly, starting with only 15 tracks which later became 18 tracks, in the middle of the recording process a crazy idea emerged to make this album 26 tracks, in accordance with the band’s age, which is now 26 years old. This album was done in 2 different studios, Studio 72 and Studio Mugen Purwokerto. The mixing and mastering process was done by Reduan Imanuel Purba at Crows Music Studio Bandung. It took 4 months for them to complete this 2nd album from the recording process, mixing mastering to the duplication of physical releases in the form of CDs.

In this album they remain on their path, which is grindcore in outline, the only difference is in terms of modern guitar sound and vocals, the guitar sound that changes to chainsaw makes the guitar tone a little less clear, in terms of vocals in this album trying with different characters so that it is more energetic and fresh.
In addition to Napalm Death and Terrorizer being influences in this album, they also reference metal, hardcore, punk, ska, reggae, keroncong, pop, hip-hop and blues. As they sum it up in their slogan – Total Grindcore.
